So this weeks been lovely. As Oregon hasn't exactly cooperated with my ideal terms for living in this cold, rainy state (being that i get 3-4 months of strict 90 degree weather) I've had to make do with less than ideal weather throughout all of June and a great deal of July... but do not fret, Oregon received a stern talking to. After doing so, Oregon shaped up and showed me the ball of blazing fire that I hold so dear to my heart.
We celebrated by going to the St. Paul Rodeo... and though I was not able to take as many pictures as I wanted to due to excessive fun having, I just had to take a picture of this clown preparing to jump over long semi-truck on a motorcycle. Which in fact kill on average 3,000 people a year in the U.S.... when they aren't jumping over long semi's that are pulling trailors, just sayin.
July 4th. I spent this blessed day with my amazing boyfriend of 10 months Brock, my fantastic best friend since birth Tessa... her boyfriend Andrew, Miranda, and Eli. All and all an awesome day plainly based on the folks I spent it with. Our day consisted of touring fire trucks, receiving awesome Jr. firefighter stickers,
walking aimlessly, standing in lines aimlessly, and without a doubt... there was much mechanical bull riding. This very well may have been the most exciting 4 seconds of my entire weekend.Yes, I'm very aware of the fact that I suck at mechanical bull riding, no need to rub it in my face like you think you could do any better cause it really is a lot harder than it looks... thanks.I know this blog is basically just a bunch of little pictures with captions and descriptions, however, it was a very memorable weekend and i would not have wanted to spend it any differently than I did, and with whom I did.
I realize more and more every day what the important things are, who the important people are, and ways to show them they matter. Life is dang short, and I've only tasted but a little sliver of it, I looked forward to trying to conquer the rest of that big funfetti cake until the day I become sick of it and die. Which at that point will go to heaven to meet my heavenly father who will soothe my tummy ache with heavenly Tumz. (<--is that spelt with a Z? Okay well now it is.) And that's the best analogy I can come up with to describe my confusing, yet positive opinion on life at the moment. :) Channy must sleep, Good night world.
For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
Favorite comment ever: "...but do not fret, Oregon received a stern talking to. After doing so, Oregon shaped up and showed me the ball of blazing fire that I hold so dear to my heart."
